Award Ticket You can cancel an award ticket you purchased with your Delta SkyMiles. Cancellation must be made at least 72 hours prior to the flight departure. No matter what fare type or destination, there is a $150 cancellation fee. SkyMiles Platinum members and Diamond Medallion members are exempt from cancellation charges for award ticket cancellations.
